Rev Abs Day 1

Wow it has been a long time since I was on last. Unfortunately I gained back all the weight that I lost!
We moved in August to Nevada, Derek is home for a while! , I started my graduate degree in professional counseling, we visited visiting family and the holidays are all to blame for my unfortunate weight gain. All of this could be summed up with one word Life.
It is now January 23, 2012 and my husband and I are going to get fit and be healthier this year. We are drinking shakeology. I love to add peanut butter powder, has a lot less calories than the reduced fat peanut butter and once it is mixed in the shake it tastes the same.
My All-time Fav:
1 scoop chocolate shakeology
1 cup water
1 cup Ice
1 tsp peanut butter powder.
Today was also day 1 of our rev abs total body transformation. It was hard but I made it through. Derek had me take a horrible before picture that was taken after we worked out and I really never want to look like that again.
I have 30 pounds to loose and I am going to blog about it every day.
I love inspirational sayings so I am going to close with one:
“You get out of your body what you put into your body” ~ brett H
See you tomorrow, Allison

Battle of the Bulge

Where to begin… About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with PCOS which is why I have always had a hard time loosing weight, and then a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. As funny as it sounds I was relieved, there was a reason why I was so sore and had so many headaches.
I already new that I was stressed.. My husband is deployed on the USS Enterprise somewhere in the world, I new that the Enterprise picked up the pirates, and that Japan was getting military aid and that there are military guys getting treated for radiation because of Japan’s nuclear troubles. Now let’s add the bombing in Labia two small kids who miss their dad and looking for a house to buy in our next duty station, and drama that life brings and you have one hot mess.
I started drinking shakeology once a day 3 weeks ago right before my blood work to determine why I had headaches in the morning. The Dr. told me the usual get plenty of sleep and eat right something that I had been trying to do. I made sure that I exercised every day even if it was at 11:30 Pm, and when I ate I felt like I made good decisions but I new that I was not eating enough fruits and veggies.
I am still pretty far from my ideal body but it is getting closer every day.
